Summer Watercolor classes are here!

Hello

I'm Lily.

In 2019 when the pandemic hit my small town hard, I started outdoor watercolor classes to help those struggling with isolation, to find community and learn a new skill where they could enjoy the stunning nature of the West Coast. These classes have now grown over the years and so has my passion for helping others reconnect with nature through the meditative art of watercolor.

About the Classes

Beginner friendly

I offer beginner friendly classes with supplies included so there is no barrier for those wanting to try something new. All ages and skill levels welcome.

We paint outdoors.

Reconnect with nature and enjoy our surroundings. Painting outside sets the perfect scene for enjoying the process as you try new things.

Weather and Accessibility

Each location has free parking and is easy to walk to. Bathrooms are always close by, and complimentary water is provided. Classes are during the summer months when the weather is most likely to cooperate. If the weather does interfere we will reschedule or cancel that class.

Supplies

Beginner friendly classes includes all supplies. Most locations have picnic tables, and camp chairs will be provided. However, you're welcome to bring your own chair and supplies. Classes Include a pre-sketched drawing of our subject for your specific class. This ensures you take home something you love.

Pricing

Each class is $45 per person or $80 for two people if booked together.

"I loved working with Lily. This was my first time using watercolor paints and trying any form of painting. I appreciated learning about the layers of the painting, how to mix colors, and the different techniques for blending and making the paint go on the paper smoothly. Lily was helpful, patient, and encouraging. I walked away with a piece that I feel I can frame and hang on the wall. I look forward to doing another class in the future."
